The collaborative research effort aims to establish a diverse, world-class STEM workforce for the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps by developing a "Data and AI Literacy for National Security" workforce pipeline. Through a Research and Training program at FSU, the project enhances data and AI literacy within the Naval workforce, advancing national security and technological innovation.

The evaluation of the NSF S-STEM Project at Jacksonville State University, conducted by Cynosure Consulting, employs a mixed-methods approach. This evaluation focuses on assessing the project's impact on recruitment, retention, graduation, and the development of STEM mindset attributes that bolster success in STEM. It includes formative feedback for continuous improvement and summative assessment for aiding the project's dissemination efforts.
Fayetteville State NSF HBCU-TIP
The evaluation of the FSU Targeted Infusion Project, led by Cynosure Consulting, uses a mixed-methods assessing the project's integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into various curricula. This includes annual tracking of benchmarks, formative feedback, and gathering summative evidence of impact. Key activities involve assessing the implementation and impact of the project through tracking participant success metrics and using psychometrically strong instruments to measure impacts.
